About

Blues · Funk · Make guitar mainstream again

Andrea Benini

Hi, I’m Ben.

I’m Andrea Benini, a blues guitarist with a serious funk habit, born in 2005. I grew up on riffs that are older than my parents and grooves that make your face do the stank face before your brain catches up.

The nerd part

I’m a techie at heart. When I’m not playing, the soldering iron is usually warm, I’m writing classical music with virtual instruments (VSTs), or I’m building a videogame on the side. Wires, code, strings: it’s all the same itch.

The mission

Make guitar mainstream again and bring the blues closer to my generation. The guitar isn’t a museum piece. It’s loud, it’s alive, and it belongs in the room where people my age actually hang out.
